Rough clean
Waste and offcuts out, floors swept, access ways cleared. Usually done during the build so trades can keep working.
Builders clean
The main event. Removing dust, plaster splatter, paint spots, adhesive, stickers and protective film. Cleaning inside cupboards, tracks, frames and every surface that has collected construction dust.
Final or detail clean
Done last, after the trades have finished for good. Glass, fittings, tapware, skirtings and the details an inspector notices.
Why the sequencing matters
A detail clean before the last trade leaves gets undone. Book the final clean after the site is genuinely finished, not hopefully finished.
