Who we are

These terms apply to services provided by UZI Contracting of Maddington, Western Australia.

TODO(client): confirm the registered entity name (sole trader / Pty Ltd) and ABN.

Quotes

Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on the information you give us — the job description, location, timing and access. If the job turns out to be materially different from what was described, we will talk to you before doing extra work, and the price may change.

TODO(client): confirm how long a quote remains valid.

Prices and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars. TODO(client): confirm whether prices are quoted GST-inclusive or plus GST. No price is published on this website; every job is priced individually.

Site access and safety

You agree to give our workers safe and reasonable access to the site at the agreed time, and to tell us about any known hazards before work starts. Where the site is under your control, you remain responsible for site safety and induction requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Tell us accurately what the job involves
• Make sure the site is accessible at the agreed time
• Tell us about hazards, services, or restrictions we need to know about
• Confirm what tools, plant or PPE you are providing, if any

Cancellation

Let us know as early as you can if you need to change or cancel a booking.

TODO(client): confirm the cancellation notice period and any fee.

Payment

TODO(client): confirm accepted payment methods and payment terms.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those consumer guarantees.

If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to have the service re-supplied, or to a refund, and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Liability

Other than the consumer guarantees above and any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability for any claim connected with our services is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

We are not liable for pre-existing defects, or for damage arising from inaccurate information about the site or the job.

Insurance

TODO(client): insurance details will be stated here once the insurer and cover amount are confirmed in writing. Nothing is claimed until then.

Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
