- How much waste is still there. Load-out often takes longer than cleaning.
- How broken up the space is. Wet areas and joinery are slow. Open floor is fast.
- How much glass. Glazing is one of the slowest items in any handover clean.
- What the trades left behind. A site that was kept tidy cleans in a fraction of the time.
- Access. Lifts, stairs and parking distance all add up across a day.
Getting a realistic answer
Photos help enormously. Send a few of the actual state of the space rather than the architect's render and you will get a timeline you can plan around.
