There is no single hourly figure for labour hire in Perth, and any company that quotes one before asking about your job is guessing. What you pay comes down to a handful of practical things.
What moves the price
- How long you need the crew. A half-day call-out and a three-week run are priced differently. Ongoing work is almost always better value per hour.
- How many workers. Sending three people to one address costs less per head than sending one person to three addresses.
- The type of work. General site labour, material handling and site preparation each ask for different experience and equipment.
- Where the site is. Travel time across Greater Perth is real time. A job in Maddington and a job two hours north are not the same booking.
- Start time and notice. Same-day and early starts are possible but they are harder to crew than a booking made a few days out.
Hourly or daily
Short, defined tasks usually suit an hourly rate. Anything that fills most of a working day is generally better on a daily rate, because you stop watching the clock and the crew can work at a sensible pace.
What to have ready when you ring
A quote comes back faster when you can say: the suburb, what the work involves, how many people you think you need, when you want them, and roughly how long for. If you are not sure how many workers the job needs, describe the work and we will tell you what we would send.
Ring 0450 704 884 and we will price it properly rather than give you a number that changes later.
